Deputies search for suspect in Little Caesar's armed robbery on James Island

JAMES ISLAND, SC -

Charleston County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating an armed robbery Wednesday evening February 5 at the Little Caesar's Pizza on Folly Road.

According to CCSO, the suspect entered the James Island store wearing a green hoodie, khaki pants, a black mask with black gloves and holding a silver handgun, demanded money from the safe.  The suspect made other employees kneel at the front counter

The suspect was able to leave from the scene with about $850 in cash.

Deputies say no one was hurt in the incident.

Witnesses described the suspect as black male, weighing around 160 pounds and 5'8" tall.
