MUGS: 36 Arrests In Greenville Prostitution Sting

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office, along with 26 other agencies throughout 15 states, participated in the event during National Day of Johns Arrest. GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. - Three dozen people were arrested in Greenville County in connection with a prostitution sting.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office, along with 26 other agencies throughout 15 states, participated in the event during National Day of Johns Arrest.  A "John" is an individual who seeks prostitutes and exchanges money for sex.

The operation took place on January 30 and 31.  Thirty five Johns were taken into custody along with one pimp.
