Police arrest suspect in Friday morning gas station robbery

Police arrested the suspect Alfred Sider Friday afternoon. Police arrested the suspect Alfred Sider Friday afternoon.
COLLETON COUNTY, SC - Friday afternoon authorities arrested the man seen in the surveillance video image for armed robbery.  Police identified the man as Alfred Sider.

Friday morning at approximately 7:30 a.m. a black male, approximately 6'02 and 140 lbs, entered the BP Gas Station, 1825 Wichman Street, and presented a firearm to the store clerk, demanded money and fled the scene on foot.

The suspect did obtain an unknown amount of money before fleeing the scene. The suspect was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark grey sweatshirt hoodie, and a black knit hat.
