News 2 presents Haut Gap Middle School with our Cool School award.

All week, we've shown you all the cool things taking place at Advanced Studies Magnet Haut Gap Middle School in Charleston county.

Haut Gap is a Palmetto Silver award winning school, the only middle school on Johns Island. The partial magnet draws students from across the county and allows students who qualify for the program to receive high school credits. Students have use of the latest technology, including IPads. The Title One school has received an "A" rating for the past two years. Haut Gap is proud of it's green and healthy living initiatives, creating global competitors who are also stewards of the environment.

Congratulations to the Haut Gap Bulldogs!
