Horry County Police responded to The G Spot at 8160 Hwy 90 located in the Longs on February 17, 2014 for a fight. The complainant, who is an inside security guard for the club,  told police a fight between the suspect and victim started and others tried to break it up.  The fight spilled outside the club.   At some point, someone was shot and taken to Sea Coast Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the thigh.   When police arrived there was a large crowd of people scattering.

Police met with the victim who told police he knew who shot him but didn't know why.  The owner told police the suspect was banned from entering the club, and he does not know how he gained entry.

Durance McCray, 25, of Longs was arrested in March and charged with attempted murder, armed robbery, possession of a deadly weapon and other charges. He's being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
