SAVANNAH, GA -

Six people, including 2 Fort Stewart soldiers were arrested over the weekend in connection with a Savannah FBI led Child Exploitation Task Force.

The FBI says the men who ranged in age from 25 to 56 were all arrested and charged with state charges of sexual exploitation of children after the investigation revealed that they traveled to Pooler, for purposes of having sex with a minor child, officials said.

Here is a list of those charged:

Bengie Kevin Odum, 49, of Jesup

Raymond Patrick Perez, 27, and Daniel Corvette Powell, 25, both soldiers

John Thomas Pratt, 56, Hilton Head, S.C.

Michael Gilbert Rosales, 35, and Jason Bryant Williams, 31, both of Pooler

Perez and Powell were both stationed at Fort Stewart.

The operation was designed to locate and recover juveniles sexually exploited through prostitution and to identify and arrest those who are exploiting the juveniles.

The Task Force is comprised of agents and officers from the FBI, GBI, Liberty County Sheriff's Office, Effingham County Sheriff's Office, and the Pooler Police Department
