Another juvenile arrested for shooting that injured a 15-year-old

Another juvenile has been arrested in a shooting that injured a 15-year-old male.

According to North Charleston Police, a 13-year-old  male was arrested and charged Wednesday night for attempted murder and possession of a firearm during a violent crime. The suspect is in custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Another suspect was arrested Monday for this crime.  Police say a 15-year-old female juvenile was also arrested and charged with attempted murder for this shooting. Police say they believe she transported the 13-year-old suspect to where the shooting occurred.

About 6:45 Sunday evening, police responded to the 7500 block of Corley Drive for shots fired, finding a 15-year-old with a gunshot wound to the buttocks.

According to the police report, the victim told police that he was outside his house when a group of teenagers gathered, asking for his sister.  When the victim told the group he didn't know where she was, he says one of the males in the group pulled out a gun and started firing at him while he tried to run into the house.

The victim told police that he didn't know the suspect, but that he had had altercations with the suspect in the past.

Police found five .380 caliber shell casings on the road where the victim says the shooting occurred.

This incident is still under investigation.
