Meth crimes have Berkeley Sheriff searching Joseph Kinsey and Dustin Lane

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is searching for 27-year-old Joseph Kinsey and 26-year-old Dustin Lane on charges of Attempting to Manufacture Methamphetamine.

In two cases involving meth, the Drug Enforcement Unit arrested one suspect on Friday and warrants have been issued for Lane and Kinsey.


30-year-old Ian McGaughey was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Meth and resisting arrests after deputies discovered 1.5 gross grams of crystal meth, contained in multiple bags, in his vehicle at a residence located at 114 Ashwood Court.

According to Drug Enforcement Unit Captain Mike Williams, the Sheriff’s Office has also issued arrest warrants for two other suspects after finding all the necessary components to manufacture meth inside a residence at 108 Messina Street.

Anyone with information on these two suspects is asked to call the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office
