North Charleston Police search for Wal-Mart robbery suspect

Authorities are searching for a man, believed to involved in a robbery at the Wal-Mart on Dorchester Road at Oakbrook Monday.

According to a spokesman with the North Charleston Police Department, shortly before 9 a.m. a white man entered the store, approached the clerk at the Money Center and demanded money. A weapon was not presented during the robbery, and no one was injured. The suspect left the business with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect is described as being a white, heavy set man with a beard, wearing a camouflage cap and jacket, and is about 5'9.
