Posted: Updated:

The dangers of texting and walking got a new sort of treatment in a public service announcement in Japan.

The animated video, posted on YouTube, states that twenty percent of people who text and walk injure themselves, or get into an accident.

The animation illustrates that point by showing what might happen if 1,500 people tried to text and walk at the same time through a busy intersection!

The video has gotten over 1 million views since Sunday.
