Police investigate armed robbery at Hanahan restaurant

Hanahan Police are investigating an early morning armed robbery at a local restaurant.

According to officials, Pappy's Restaurant at 5804 Carolyn St, near Remount Road, was robbed around 4:00 am Friday. 

Authorities say two males, one with a sawed-off shotgun the other with a revolver, were able to get away with about $1,900 in cash. K-9's were able to track the scent of the suspects to a nearby school where the trail disappeared.

No customers or employees were hurt during the incident.
