MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -

The 20th Annual Hootie & The Blowfish Monday After The Masters Tournament was held Monday at The Dye Club at Barefoot Resort.

The event drew 6,000 spectators to the North Strand to see Darius Rucker and other celebrities play golf in the pro-am.

This year, Willie Robertson from Duck Dynasty was out playing golf with the crowd, which also includes Jim Cantore from The Weather Channel and USC's Connor Shaw.

The 20th anniversary of the event is the seventh consecutive sell-out in recent years. Spectator tickets for the event sold out within hours of going on sale earlier this year.

The day was somewhat overcast with some rain during the game.

At 5 pm, officials called off the golfing because of rain, but "some groups made the decision to continue," organizers said on Twitter.

Mike & Mike In The Morning broadcast their ESPN radio show from the course earlier on Monday -- and Rucker and other members of Hootie and Blowfish joined them behind the microphones.

"A lot of people come from Augusta - the PGA Tour players - and it's a highly stressed week at Augusta National," Jeff Diehl, the course's PGA Head Pro, explained. "They kind of let loose a bit."

Sponsors and organizers know that the green jacket excitement flows north after Masters Sunday in Augusta, GA.

"This is where America goes to play is what we like to say," Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday's Chris King said. "What better event to showcase that than Monday After The Masters. To see the celebrities enjoy the same types of things in a Myrtle Beach golf experience that our guys in town for package play do."

The event, embraced by the local community and Grand Strand golf market, has grown -- equaling big exposure for the town known as the "Golf Capital of the United States."

In addition to gaining priceless national exposure through the ESPN show, SiriusXM Radio will broadcast live from Monday After The Masters, in addition to international travel writers being among spectators reviewing the event.
