Posted: Updated:
Memphis, TN - A 7-year-old girl in Memphis, Tennessee wakes up to find her parents murdered. The little girl was getting ready for school and found her parents shot to death in the family's living room.

Danielle Alexander and James Alexander had four children , ranging in age from 2 to 7, who were home at the time. The family just moved into the house within the past few months. The couple were high school sweethearts, married in February.

Police brought the children McDonald's and formed a human shield to protect them from the public when they removed them from the scene.

Police are checking into a fight caught on tape from April 19th in which Danielle was involved for any possible connection or motive.

One local TV station reported there were no signs of forced entry and at this time police don't have a motive or suspect. They are checking a surveillance camera at the home to see if they have any clues in the case.
