7 college students caught nude in Myrtle Beach ocean water, police say

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) - Myrtle Beach police officers arrested seven college students after witnessing them naked in the ocean.

According to police reports, Gian Michael Zlupko, 20, of Delaware, Maia Irena Chicherio, 20, of Maryland, Cameron Michel Koob, 20, of California, Tailor Haas Arnold, 19, of Colorado, John Hanlon Arnold, 22, of Pennsylvania, Vanessa Cheryl Hart, 21, of Pennsylvania, and Andrew Wythe Meriwether, 21, of North Carolina were spotted in the ocean just near 74th Avenue North around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

When officers asked them to come out of the water, they all walked out and did not have clothes on, the report said.

All seven suspects were arrested and taken to the Myrtle Beach City Jail and later charged with public nudity.
