Mother bear scoops up cub near busy highway; all caught on video

British Columbia, Canada - A Black Bear rescued her cub on a busy stretch of roadway and it was all caught on video.

It happened at Kootenay National Park, Canada. Tornado hunter, Ricky Forbes captured it on video. It shows the tiny cub backing away from the traffic and then the momma bear reaching down and plucking it to safety.

The mother bear scooped up the baby in her mouth and got it to safety.

    Moncks Corner Police investigators are investigating an assault at Berkeley high school. The assault took place on Monday between two teenage males. A 15-year-oldmale was found unresponsive when police arrived. He wassuffering from head injuries. The studentwas taken to the hospital and remains in serious condition. Another 15-year-old male was arrested and charged with assault. Police need additional information about what happened. If you have any information, call crimestoppers at 554-1111.
