Milwaukee, WI - Two 12-year-old girls in Wisconsin are accused of stabbing one of their "friends", who is the same age. She was stabbed 19 times in the arms, legs and torso. Authorities say some of her major organs were hit, she did survive.

Apparently the accused found something online and decided to lure the third girl into a wooded area in Milwaukee this past weekend during a sleepover. After she was stabbed, the accused left her there and she proceeded to crawl to her own rescue.  She was found on the sidewalk by a bicyclist.

The Waukesha Police Chief Russell Jack said the the girls were trying to get the attention of "Slenderman," the name on a website known as Creepypasta Wiki, which posts horror stories.

Slenderman is the site's apparent leader, and to climb up into his realm, a user must kill someone, one of the suspects reportedly told police.

The girls face charges of attempted first-degree intentional homicide. The complaint identifies the girls as Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier and they are charged as adults. Bail has been set for half a million dollars.
