Suspect in Georgetown burglary surrenders to authorities

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC - Police have arrested Francis Brian Stalvey, 48 years of age, wanted for burglary and attempted murder.

At approximately 9:00pm on June 11, 2014, Georgetown County Sheriff's Deputies were notified Stalvey was at a neighbor's house on Ray Road and wanted to turn himself in. The neighbor secured the weapon and ammunition and notified sheriff's deputies the whereabouts of Stalvey.

Stalvey was transported to the Georgetown County Detention Center where he is awaiting a bond hearing. Stalvey is charged with one count of Burglary in the First Degree and one count of Attempted Murder.
