New York man fatally shot in St. Stephen

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC - According to the Berkeley County Coroner, John David Morant, a 41 year old from New York, was shot and killed on June 11.

After having been shot in a St. Stephen trailer park, Morant was pronounced dead at 12:01 p.m. at Roper Berkeley ER in Monck's Corner.
    
More information will be made available following an autopsy scheduled for Thursday.

The death will be investigated by the St. Stephen Police Dept., the Berkeley County Coroner, as well as assisted by the Berkeley County Sheriff Office.
