The Myrtle Beach Police Department say they have found and are talking with 2 men and a woman that might be linked to the shooting death of a North Carolina man on Monday morning.

UPDATE: 2 people arrested in slaying of man found dead in car

When police arrived, the man had what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The victim was identified Monday evening as Alton Antonio Daniels, age 34, from Shallotte, NC, said Tamara Willard, Horry County Deputy Coroner.

On Monday afternoon, police were seeking 2 men and woman who were captured on camera the evening before on Walmart security cameras. The photo of a car was also captured at the Seaboard Street Walmart at 9:04 pm.

The three people, who were wanted for questioning, have been located by authorities and were talking with police on Tuesday afternoon, Knipes said.

Knipes also said investigators do not believe Daniels' death  was suicide.

The car was found in the overflow parking of The Days Inn hotel on Yaupon Drive. News13 spoke with some visitors staying in the hotel who reported hearing what sounded several firework pops just before midnight Sunday.
