Arthur's center pulls away from the Outer Banks, still a category 2 storm

CHARLESTON, SC -

As of Friday morning, Arthur's bands continue to lash the Outer Banks as the center of the category two storm pulls away to the northeast at 23 MPH.  Maximum sustained winds remain near 100 MPH with a minimum central pressure of 973mb.

Hurricane Warnings remain in effect for the Outer Banks with a Tropical Storm Warning in effect for Nantucket and Cape Cod.
