Anne Baldridge

Anne Baldridge joined the News 2 team in May of 2021 after graduating from the University of Louisville where she earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism and Mass Communications.

Anne is a Louisville, Kentucky native who always knew she wanted to end up in Charleston after college from spending time here in the summers growing up. She loves the community and everything Charleston has to offer.

During her four years at UofL, she was a member of Sigma Kappa, served on the Panhellenic Council, and was the senior editor of her university newspaper. Anne was also a professional dancer for the Louisville Xtreme professional arena football team.

During college, Anne took on internships with WBNA in Louisville, KY, editor at The Voice-Tribune which is Louisville’s magazine, and an iHeart Media radio internship for on-air personality.

She is so excited to start her life here in Charleston. When she’s not on camera you might find her working out, checking out new restaurants, enjoying a game of tennis, or spending time with her family and friends. She is eager to experience everything in the Lowcountry!
