Katie Turner joined News 2 in June of 2019 as a digital reporter for the station and later moved into the nightside reporter role.

She is a southern girl at heart with roots that run to her hometown of Blythewood, SC.  As a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina, Katie loves her Gamecocks!

When she’s not on camera you will probably find Katie in a thrift store or cooking for her friends and family.

She’s excited to explore the rich culture of Charleston and tell the stories of the Lowcountry!
