Megan joined the News 2 team as a morning traffic anchor and reporter in July of 2022. Born and raised in Chicago, she is thrilled for the opportunity to wake up with the Lowcountry every morning!
A proud Texas Ex, Megan graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin with degrees in Journalism and Advertising, and a Business minor in May of 2022.
In her years on the forty acres, she worked as a news intern at Austin’s NBC affiliate, KXAN, as well as an anchor and reporter for Texas Student Television. Additionally, Megan inspired movement on campus as a leader of UT Austin’s first-ever cohort of Nike Project Move and is an alumna of Tri Delta sorority.
Along with storytelling, Megan has pursued a lifelong passion for sports. In her thirteen-year competitive figure skating career, she became a six-time National Medalist in Solo Dance, U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medalist in four disciplines, and the 2017 National Champion in International Solo Dance.
Outside of the newsroom, Megan loves getting active in Charleston — from the yoga studio to the beach to the pickleball court. You’ll see her soaking up all the Holy City has to offer with friends and family, always looking to experience a new restaurant, a historic site, or at a live music venue.
