Olivia Parsons is a Boston native but took her talents down south when she accepted her admission to the University of Central Florida.

During her senior year at UCF, thanks to one of her amazing professors born and raised right here in the Lowcountry, Olivia accepted a part-time position at the city’s news leader: WFTV, where she worked as an associate producer. Olivia covered stories that ranged from breaking news hostage situations to local elections, all the way to natural disasters.

Olivia joined the Count on 2 team in January 2019 as the weekend morning anchor and works as a reporter during the week. She couldn’t be more excited to call herself a South Carolina resident.

When Olivia’s not chasing after the latest breaking news, you can find her hanging out at one of the many restaurants on Shem Creek; shopping her way down King Street; or catching the latest chick-flick at the Mount Pleasant movie theater.

Olivia chose this career to tell stories that reflect her community, and she wants to do her part in sharing yours.
