Sophia Radebaugh

Sophia, a Charleston native, joined the News 2 team in early 2023 as a reporter and weekend morning anchor.

Her family moved to the Lowcountry when she was in elementary school, so she’s thrilled to be home.

Sophia went to Pinewood Preparatory School, where she graduated in 2016. After graduating high school, she was sure she wanted to be a journalist and attended Clemson University where she majored in English and Sports Communications.

She joined Alpha Delta Pi sorority, wrote for the campus newspaper, was co-host on a Clemson Football radio show (Go Tigers), and did a handful of internships with local news stations in the area.

Sophia later moved to Greenville after graduation in 2020 and became a reporter with WSPA for 2.5 years.

Now she’s back home in Charleston as weekend morning anchor and reporter. Her favorite part of the job is having relationships with community members, and giving people a platform. If you have any story ideas, feel free to email her at sradebaugh@wcbd.com.
