Taylor is a Charleston native — raised on sunshine and southern hospitality. After graduating from West Ashley High School, she left the Lowcountry for several years to earn a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. In 2015, after graduating from SEU, she headed north to New York City where she worked for three years in the TV market.
She is thrilled to finally call the Lowcountry home again, joining the WCBD-TV team in January 2019 as a Reporter and Multimedia Journalist.
During her time at SEU, she worked as a reporter/host for a faith-based, internationally broadcasted campus talk show and was the game-day host for the Southeastern Fire football team.
In New York City, she worked as a field producer, video editor, and reporter of Public Affairs programming for TBN NYC. She also worked on several other shows produced by TBN NYC.
A trained multimedia journalist and local girl, she is always eager to cover the news that is important to you and is passionate about sharing stories that will protect, promote, and inform the beautiful people of the Lowcountry.
When Taylor is not out chasing the latest breaking news, you can find her enjoying nature in the Lowcountry— relaxing at the beach, spending time on the water, enjoying the parks and plantations. Her most cherished pastime, however, is spending quality time with her family and loved ones.
