A Walk For Education

Take a walk today in downtown Charleston to help start a conversation about STEM education, especially in the African American community.   The goal is to help more student become interesting in STEM, with the hopes to pursue and complete a STEM education degree. The walk will take place today at the St. Julian Devine Community Center; 1 Cooper St from 10am to 2pm. Local Colleges will be there to talk to high school student about STEM programs and possible admissions. Companies like Boeing and SPAWAR will be there with hands on STEM projects for high school students.  For more information head on over to http://www.nsbecharleston.org/
