Masks now required in city of Clemson when in public places

CLEMSON, S.C. (WCBD) – Masks are now a requirement in public places for anyone over the age of 12 in the city of Clemson.

City Council passed the emergency ordinance Wednesday night.

It is up to parents, whether or not the children under the age of 12 will wear a mask in public.

Violators face a misdemeanor offense and penalties.
