31-year-old arrested after holding up North Charleston bank


NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The North Charleston Police Department arrested a man who held up a bank on Rivers Avenue Tuesday morning.

Joshua Dodes, 31, is charged with entering a bank with intent to steal. He’s currently being held at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center.

Police spokesman Spencer Pryor says at about 9:30 a.m. on September 27, a man walked inside of South State Bank, demanded money, and left with an unknown amount of cash.
