71-year-old man with dementia missing from North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C (WCBD) — The North Charleston Police Department needs help finding a missing man who has dementia.

George Bailey Reid, 71, of North Charleston was last seen on Thursday, November 10 at about 5:30 p.m. on Peppercorn Lane — walking toward Ashley Phosphate Road.

We’re told Reid was last seen wearing blue thermal pants, green plaid shirt with a long sleeve burgundy shirt underneath, black socks, and black shoes.

Authorities say in addition to the Pepperhill neighborhood, Reid lived on America Street. Due to his dementia, he may try to go to this area.

Reid is described as an African-American man, standing at 5’7, weighing 145 pounds.  He has gray hair and brown eyes.
