Authorities look for missing man, Floyd Allen Cauthen

Authorities in South Carolina and Georgia are searching for an elderly Lancaster man who left his home Saturday and may be somewhere southeast of the Atlanta, GA area.

Floyd Allen Cauthen, 72, was last seen leaving his home in Lancaster, S.C. Saturday about 10:30 a.m. in a gray 2010 four door Honda Accord with South Carolina tag BHI 269. Cauthen, who suffers from dementia and possible Alzheimer’s Disease, may be in the vicinity of Henry County, GA. Cauthen has been known to pull off the road to sleep when tired.

Cauthen is five feet, 11 inches tall with brown eyes and gray hair balding on top.
