Charleston County Small Business Week runs from May 18th to May 22 and there will be free workshops and networking events for the small businesses in the Charleston area.
During the May 19th County council meeting, selected small businesses will be recognized. Charleston County Procurement Director Barrett Tolbert will present the 2015 Charleston County Small Business of the Year and Prime Contractor of the Year recognitions.
Herndon, Inc. will be recognized as the Small Business of the Year.
Banks Construction Company will be recognized as the Prime Contractor of the Year.
