CHARLESTON, SC — On Thursday, March 10, the Charleston Police Department sent a notice to the media and tweeted a photo to remind the public of an ongoing, two-year investigation into an 18-year-old’s murder.

Police say on October 8, 2013, officers arrived to a home on Forbes Avenue to find Malcolm Cornett Jefferson shot and wounded in a shed.

EMS took Jefferson to MUSC, where he later died.

Police want to let the community know that even though years have passed, they are still looking for information about the shooting.

If anyone has information, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111. People can also call Consolidated Dispatch at (843) 743-7200 and ask for the on-call Charleston Police Department detective.
