City of Charleston continues debris clean up

This week the City of Charleston will be collecting debris and trash on the upper peninsula, West Ashley, James Island, and Johns Island. On Wednesday there were 34 trucks cleaning up the area.

Thursday- Sunday there will parking restrictions in certain areas of the peninsula to allow large contractor equipment to move through narrow streets.

On street parking will not be allowed during the days with in the following areas.Thursday – Area formed by Tradd Street, Meeting Street, South Battery Street, East Battery and East Bay Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Friday –        Area formed by Tradd Street, the west side of Meeting Street, South Battery Street, and the east side of Legare Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Area formed by Broad Street, the west side of Legare Street, Tradd Street and Chisolm Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday –   Area formed by Tradd Street, the west side of Legare Street, South Battery Street and the east side of Limehouse Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Area formed by Broad Street, the east side of Legare Street, Tradd Street and Concord Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sunday –      Area formed by Tradd Street, to the Coast Guard Station, the west side of Limehouse Street, and Murray Boulevard (west of Limehouse Street) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
