Clemson Tigers, Carolina Gamecocks prepare to face-off in Death Valley

The Clemson Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks will face-off Saturday in the Palmetto Bowl.

Tiger fans will hold Cocky’s funeral Friday night at Clemson – the annual tiger burn was held earlier this week at USC.

Ahead of the big game, both coaches had some nice things to say about each other’s top players.

“Travis is a guy who really catches the eye when you watch the tape,” said USC head coach Will Muschamp. “He made a lot of big plays for them. Really, their run game has been better from a year in my opinion, just watching them and watching him run all year.”

“As good a player as we’ve seen all year. He’s a game changer. He’s a guy you better bring everything you got,” said Clemson head coach Dabo Sweeny about USC’s quarterback. “He’s so good with the ball in his hands and breaking tackles and yards after the contact.”

Kick-off is at 7:00 p.m. Saturday night in Death Valley.
