Coroner releases identification of hunters body found

DORCHESTER, S.C. (WCBD) -The Dorchester County Coroner’s office has released the name of the missing hunter, whose body was found by authorities on Monday.

According to the coroner’s office, the hunter has been identified as 36-year-old Jeremy Dunsil of Harleyville.

Dunsil and another hunter were in the St. Paul area on Sunday. When Dunsil did not return home later that evening family reported him missing to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office.

Dunsil was later found in a canal off St. Paul Rd.

An autopsy was done and results are pending. The Dorchester County Sheriff’s office is investigating the incident.
