North Charleston’s gang unit assists in arrest of 19-year-old

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A 19-year-old was taken into custody Thursday morning with the help of the North Charleston Police Department’s gang unit.

Xavier Mills was wanted for violating his parole agreement in connection to a strong-armed robbery charge as well as an assault and battery charge.

He was arrested around 6:30 a.m.

US Marshals and the South Carolina Office of Parole, Probation, and Pardon participated in that arrest.

Mills has faced several charges in the past included attempted murder.
