Crime News

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) – A woman was arrested over the weekend after police in North Charleston say she stabbed her boyfriend.

According to NCPD spokesman, Spencer Pryor, the incident happened Sunday just before 9:00 p.m.

Officers arrived at a residence in the 1900 block of Robertson Blvd. where a man told police he has been stabbed in the upper right-hand side of his back by his girlfriend.

The man claimed she was mad at him for attempting to leave their apartment.

Pryor says the woman stabbed the man with a kitchen knife, but no weapon was recovered.

The girlfriend told police she occasionally blacks out and did not remember anything.

We’re told two witnesses called 911 after seeing the incident outside.

Police arrested and booked 47-year-old Priscilla Williams at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
