ORLANDO, FL (WCBD) — Disney World will now have children between the ages of three and nine scan their fingers before entering the park.
The system scans the finger and converts the image into a unique numerical value tied to the ticket.
The decision was put in place in order to crack down on ticket fraud.
Parents who do not want their children’s fingers scanned can have their fingers scanned instead.
Disney already scans the fingerprints of older guests to keep people from sharing tickets.
