Flowertown Festival Starts TODAY!


SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Get ready! The 47th Flowertown Festival kicks off today in Downtown Summerville!

Every spring thousands of people visit Summerville to see the towns beautiful flowers on display.  Azaleas, white dogwoods, and purple wisterias drawing crowds for one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the southeast.

Hosted by the Summerville Family YMCA, the festival is home over 200 jury-selected artists from throughout the county, food trucks, and dozens of vendors. There’s also a “Kids Fest” on Main Street!

Flowertown starts bright and early at 9:00 a.m. and will last for three days:

  • April 5 | 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • April 6 | 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • April 7 | 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event is free to attend. Drones, weapons, and pets are not allowed.
