Contract issues seem to have put the completion date for the interstate 526 project on hold.
Charleston Councilman Elliott Summey has been in talks with the state infrastructure bank and department of transportation over the last two months.
Summey says the groups didn’t live up to their end of a 420 million dollar bargain.
