I-26 westbound reopens after multi-car crash causes backup

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – All lanes on I-26 have reopened to traffic following an early morning crash near mile marker 210 early Friday morning.

According to Trooper Matt Southern with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a Lexus passenger car became disabled and was hit by two other vehicles.

One person was taken to the hospital.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
