Charleston, SC (WCBD)- The Isle of Palms Connector is once again open to traffic after it was shut down earlier today.
According to Isle of Palms Police Chief Kevin Cornett, the bridge was closed in both directions due to a car crash.
Traffic was backed up as crews worked to clear the scene, but traffic is back open and flowing to and from the island.
