CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - Lowcountry families are raising awareness for genetic disorders by hosting ‘Race the Helix.’ This is a 5k race and a one-mile walk/run benefitting the Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation.
The third annual race is happening from nine a.m. until noon at the Palmetto Islands County Parkin Mount Pleasant.
