CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) – Allegiant Airlines on Tuesday announced non-stop flights to Charleston, South Carolina from Columbus, Ohio beginning this summer.
To celebrate, the company is offering fares on the new route as low as $49 each way.
The new non-stop flight from Rickenbacker International Airport will operate twice-weekly and will bring nearly 3,500 passengers to the Charleston area annually.
Allegiant began flying in and out of Charleston last year.
“We are excited to grow once again in Charleston,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “We’re confident that Columbus-area travelers will be thrilled to take advantage of these convenient, ultra-low-cost flights to enjoy this beautiful, historic destination.”
The new flights will begin on June 7th of this year.
