Ambulance medic struck by vehicle in Berkeley Co. identified by Coroner

 SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – A medic with a private ambulance service was struck and killed on Sheep Island Road when he got out of his vehicle to verify a street address, according to Berkeley County Coroner Salisbury.

Christopher M. Gore, 36, of Moncks Corner was in the auto’s lane of traffic. He was struck by a car and pronounced dead on scene, Salisbury stated.

The death has been ruled accidental by Coroner Salisbury and was investigated by the Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
