BCSO deputies searching for man who stole entire home HVAC

Local News

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is working to find a man who is accused of stealing an entire home air-conditioning system.

Officials say 46-year-old Kevin Andrew Passaro of Moncks Corner, was evicted from a rental home. They say he went back and stole the entire HVAC unit from the home.

Surveillance photos show Passaro was captured on trail camera at the time of theft.  Passaro has an active arrest warrant for grand larceny, stemming from this incident.

“He is pretty good at hiding. We are getting tips that he is hanging out in the Ashley Phosphate Road area somewhere in North Charleston, possibly at the other end of it. If anybody knows where he is, we would like to get a hold of him,” said Chief Deputy Michael Cochran with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.

If you know where Passaro is, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.
