MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCBD) – Deputies in Berkeley County are searching for a 20-year-old Kendall Austin Eagerton who is wanted on two active felony warrants.
They say one warrant is for Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and the other is for St. Stephen’s Police Department.
The warrant through Berkeley County stems from an incident that occurred on May 8 on Adrian Lane in Moncks Corner. It was then deputies met with a victim who said he caught Eagerton with a hunting bag that belonged to him.
Deputies say the victim confronted Eagerton who swung an axe at the victim and then ran away.
Eagerton is facing first-degree assault and battery charges with Berkeley County and Assault and battery in a high and aggravated nature from St. Stephen’s Department.
Details about the warrant for St. Stephen are not being released at this time.
Deputies say Eagerton has been arrested four times since 2016. His charges include burglary, shoplifting, trespassing, possession of meth and violation of probation.
They say he is known to frequent the Alvin community in Berkeley County. Eagerton is considered dangerous and should not be confronted.
