BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Deputies with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help in locating 19-year-old William Hugh Starkey.
On Friday afternoon, a deputy tried to conduct a traffic stop on French Santee near Simmons Hill Road on a black Silverado. Officials stated that Deputies wanted to make contact with the driver to see if it was being driven by Starkey.
Authorities stated that Starkey was wanted for burglary charges in Berkeley County.
A pursuit began through the Shulerville community and then Starkey wrecked on Tiger Corner Road and fled on foot.
Currently, Starkey is wanted for Burglary, Trespassing, Malicious Injury to Real Property, and Failure to Stop for Blue Lights.
