Doc Williams SPCA announces closure of adoption center due to low funding

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCBD) – A Berkeley County adoption center says it will be closing for good due to funding issues.

The Doc Williams SPCA says they are looking for people to adopt – or agencies to take in – 27 dogs and 45 cats that are currently at the shelter.

The adoption center in Moncks Corner announced it will be closing its door due to insufficient funding in a post on Facebook.

NOTE: This is the center located at 2673 South Live Oak Drive in Moncks Corner.
